Are you ready to join Tel Aviv on a night out?

There is always a reason to party in Israel…

A warm Mediterranean climate, coupled with an amazing seaside  location, the vibe of the good life, and a city of young people –  it’s no surprise Tel Aviv is known as the party capital of the Middle East. The start of a great evening in this city is a cold beer at one of the beach bars while the sun sets. We follow this with a tight squeeze onto one of the last free stools in a packed pub. How about a quiet backstreet wine bar to sample local vineyard offerings? Or try some art at a ‘gallery bar’ and maybe some live music of a local band.  It’s in the small hours that Tel Aviv really wakes up when you decide to hit the city’s clubs – here it’s all about lasers, beats and dancing until dawn.

Central Tel Aviv is packed with most of the city’s best bars and clubs. It’s easy to spend a whole night at the southern end of Rothschild Boulevard and its surrounding streets.

South Tel Aviv is just a few blocks south of Rothschild. Here, you’ll hit the beautifully restored yuppie neighborhood of Neve Tzedek, the home to a bunch  of chic restaurants and wine bars. Just east of here is Florentine. Currently in the midst of a renaissance, this grungy, industrial suburb has shabby-chic bars to match the rough finishings.

Jaffa, just south of Neve Tzedek, is being attractively spruced up and the results are undeniably attractive. Jaffa’s Flea Market enclave is one of the hottest hang-outs in Tel Aviv – head here in the early evening for a spot of boutique shopping before checking out the bar and restaurant scene.

What to drink – Home to numerous wineries, Israel boasts some very drinkable wines, both red and white. When it comes to beer, drinkers had little to choose from beside mass-produced commercial lagers like Macabee and Goldstar until just a few years ago. Israel now has several dozen good microbreweries. Vodka has certainly become a chosen preference, with  whisky and arak as standard chasers.

Enjoy the night life that Tel Aviv has to offer and party on in this magical city!
