Itinerary
Day 1
Pick up your bikes, have a short orientation, arrange your gear and off we go. Ride north along the coastal highway to a view point on Mt. Carmel. From there continue north to the City of Akko, a world heritage site. From Akko we will go further north to get a glimpse of Rosh Hanikra, Israel’s north-western border point. Then we will cut east through the upper Galilee along the Lebanese border and pay a short visit the old city of Tsfat, where Kabbala started. We will go down towards the Kinneret, Sea of Galilee. We will stay near the Sea of Galilee.
Day 2
Today we will head further north to a lookout on the Lebanese border and the Hula valley. Our route will take us up the Golan Heights to past a 12th century fortress and from there we will continue along the Syrian border with a few lookouts and nature reserves all the way to the famous winery of Katsrin. After the visit in Katsrin we will head to a stunning view of the Kinneret, sea of Galilee and then go down the winding road that leads to the meeting point of the borders of Israel, Syria and Jordan. Stay around the Kinneret. Night out in Tiberius.
Day 3
After spending some time around the Kinneret, including a possible short cruise on the lake, we will head a little bit south to the ruins of Beit She’an, an ancient Roman city. From Beit She’an, we will go to the Gilboa mountain range for a scenic road that winds up and on top of the mountain allowing great views of the valleys around. Then we will head to the world heritage site of Meggido and after that will go by the Via Maris, the ancient main road that connected Africa, Europe and Mesopotamia. Stay in central Israel.
Day 4
On this day we will visit Jerusalem. The main places will be decided by the definition of the group’s religious orientation. Generally speaking we will try to understand why Jerusalem is so important for the Jews, Christians and Muslims. We will visit the holocaust museum of Yad Vashem and Mt. Herzl in order to learn more about recent Jewish history. We will not miss a visit to the old city of Jerusalem including all 4 quarters and the Wall.
Day 5
A rest day
Day 6
Today we will go down to the Dead Sea and on the way will view one of the oldest cities in the world, Jericho. After a short visit to the Ahava, Dead Sea cosmetic factory we will go to a beach to experience floating on the Dead Sea. Following that we will continue south along the Dead Sea and make a short visit

Following that we will continue south along the Dead Sea and make a short visit in the oasis of Ein Gedi and then head further south so a yet another world heritage site, Masada – a fortress in the desert. Stay in the Dead Sea area
Day 7
From there we will continue to viewing a few of Israel’s unique geological structures of the carter like natural phenomena called machtesh. These structures are unique because there are only 8 of them in the world, 5 located in Israel. The largest one being the Ramon Crater. We will also visit ben Gurion’s grave in the desert and take a short hike in the nature reserve of Ein Avdat. At night we will stay in central Israel
Day 8
Visit the ancient city of Jaffa and its post and flee market and Tel Aviv, Jaffa’s big sister. We will visit the area where Tel Aviv started, visit some of Tel Aviv’s colorful markets have some free time to explore and shop. On this day we will do just a little bit of riding and some walking. Return the motorcycles, go to the airport and fly home.
